You woke up this morning

I put my coffee cup directly under the coffee maker this morning to fill my cup. It's stronger that way.

Got yourself a gun

The F-15's were taking off this morning from the Air National Guard side of Saint Louis-Lambert Airport. It makes quite a racket. "Oh those planes making all that noise." I hear. My reply? "I don't mind it one bit. Sounds like...freedom."

Mama always said you'd be...

I'm really disappointed in the quality of recordings I get with my console DVD recorder. Of course this could have been what Tony was referring to when he told me he wasn't pleased with his Magnavox, but who really knows what Tony's ever talking about:

drax0r: I don't like the magnavox
EricHowton: Why not?
drax0r: I just don't.
EricHowton: Does it not work?
drax0r: It works.
EricHowton: So what is it exactly you don't like about it?
drax0r: meh

The Chosen One

Rec'd my data cable today to move my contact list from my old phone to my new one. It's pretty sweet what the suite can do. Apparently, I can also convert mp3's to ringtones. I'll have to play with that one...

Oh NICE! It connected to my old phone and backed up my contact list to the PC, but now will not connect to either my new phone or my old phone. Hence the title of my livejournal account, "Nothing is ever as easy as it sounds." Asses. I fscking hate USB software.

She said: You're one in a million

"Caprica" will be set more than 50 years prior to the events of "Battlestar Galactica" and focus on the lives of two families -- the Adamas (ancestors of future Galactica commander William) and the Graystones. Humankind's Twelve Colonies are at peace and on the verge of a technological breakthrough: the first Cylon.

You've got to burn to shine

Dreamed that the wife and I were on the way to see stuf123 who was living in Memphis and/or Mississippi

We're at a stoplight on a series of raised roads which dissect the houses in the residential areas at about halfway up. There were people standing in their yards visiting. One group of overweight black girls wearing easter dresses, and another groups of mixed ethnicity wearing pink jogging suits. Because the houses were so low compared to the raised highway, we could only see their torso and up. One at a time, standing in their front yard (you couldn't see the yard) they lost their step and fell backwards into water, and had to climb out of the water near the side of the house. That's when I realized that was why the highway was raised - Memphisissippi was like Venice - all waterways.

My dad was driving in downtown and he was upset by the bad directions stuf123 had given us, so we stopped at Whatabuger to ask my old friend Mariska Hargitay (of L&O:SVU fame) who was working as a counter girl. She was very proud of her green-tinted, square cut engagement ring. My wife then found it necessary to show her hers. It also had a greenish-tint to it but looked like it came out of a box of Cracker Jack in being that it was very, very gaudy. Unfortunately it was real and I was embarrassed.

But you were born under a bad sign

So, I had this idea, that I could make my own online blog quiz for you guys. Something less gay tha n most of them out there. But so far, all I've been able to come up with, are gay meme's! YOU get to fill in the questions, YOU get to fill in the possible choices, BUT THE ANSWERS MUST ALL BE RANDOMLY GENERATED! I was looking for something with some if/then statements so I could come up with something accurate (kinda like that O/S quiz on [livejournal.com profile] ximo's page..) Sucks something fierce. I'm just not looking hard enough. Maybe Tony could write me one in perl.

With a blue moon in your eyes!

you don't actually know the actress, do you?

Yes, I do actually know the daughter of Jane Mansfield, and she does actually work behind the counter of a Whataburger in Memphisissippi.

the way you had worded it , it was hard to tell if you had any association, though the probability was against such.

Hey! I was going to ask that same question.

Maybe you should just try crystal-meth instead?

this could have been what Tony was referring to when he told me he wasn't pleased with his Magnavox,

The only thing I said when you said you were looking for a dvd recorder was: Don't buy a Magnavox. What did you do? Bought a Magnavox. Dumb. Ass.

"Caprica" will be set more than 50 years prior to the events of "Battlestar Galactica"

It seems like a neat idea, but I'm not sure I like the idea of Ron Moore splitting his attention, particlarly this early into the BSG series.

so we stopped at Whatabuger to ask my old friend Mariska Hargitay (of L&O:SVU fame)

Whoa, you know Mariska Hargitay?! Awesome.

For all he knows (and the rest of us that know you), it coulda just as easily been "Don't buy a Magnavox, it's not shiny black with the word Sony on it". Now of course i didn't like it cause it was/is flakey and the controller has a crappy layout....and it's silver (ewww).

I don't want meth-mouth. (http://www.ada.org/images/public/topics/methmouth01_lg.jpg)

Don't buy a Magnavox.

Why?

We'll see now won't we?

Whoa, you know Mariska Hargitay?! Awesome.

I did her.

Don't buy a Magnavox.

Why?

Hey, that's a good point. Because I didn't thoroughly document my reasons for you not buying the Magnavox, the clear and prudent choice was to buy it and see for yourself.

Mine is silver, mounted securely under the cabinet in my kitchen and crapped out after 6 months of occasional operation. Is there an easier way to waste $300?

I contact Fagnavox, to place a warranty claim since I hadnt come close to reaching my year-term, only to find out that they no longer service/repair or replace these units, and furthermore wont freely admit that they ever made this model.

I believe Fagnavox is owned by the Nazi's...

The number of meth lab seizures in Missouri (as a percentage of total households) is .54 percent. That rank is numero uno -- #1 -- of all states by a big margin, followed by Iowa in second place with .39 percent. Raw data for top ranking states is pretty interesting, with California having the most busts but placing #16 with only .11 percent of households busted for meth -- only one fifth of Missouri's rate. Meth -- cheap to make, a big customer base, and for some users, as addictive as oxygen.

Well, this quiz wizard site lets you write it all and score the responses with a variable amount of points. I haven't done an in-depth check, but i know there are slightly better ones out there.
