Had a 0830 appointment with my doctor this morning and was thrilled to find that my resting heartrate was down to 68bpm and my blood pressure was down to 120/72. I will be off my meds in three months. He wants to see me in February because "the holidays are hard [where food is concerned]." Well they're not going to be hard for me! And now that the treadmill is up and running, I'll be able to run all winter.
From the doctors to the Post Office, where I mailed packages to nearly everyone on my friends list. If you're reading this, there's probably a package in the mail for you. Except poor
somebritinmass and
dreamkatch - yours haven't shipped out yet, sorry. Dropped off my dry cleaning, and for the first time since I've been in STL, visited the local library where I checked out the following CD's, most of them on fantastic labels, and most of them filling holes in my own collection (for example, I have Brahms Symphony #1 and Haydn Symphonies Nos. 101 & 102..)
Then I got home, ordered some new personal business cards, which caused me to update the resume I keep online. This was a tedious thing because not only did I have to author in my entire year here, I had to revisit the entire thing to re-fit on two pages, save it in word format, upload the .doc, save it as HTML, upload that, then vi it to link the .doc on the page. Ok, the really long part of all of that was designing my business cards. This of course somehow led to an Software Update of teh max0r in which I found an incremental update to iTunes which reminded me that I needed Firefox 2.0 for Mac. All of this accomplished it was time to mulch the leaves in the yard since it was 74-degrees here today, and after getting cleaned up it was time to walk to the school to pick up my boy. Back home and I stared working on a new project which is going to require I get a web server up and running - *sigh* On top of all this, I think I'm going to break my fast tomorrow morning, which means nothing but orange juice and water at work all day tomorrow (we're still on for the 16th

Now it's time for Hot Wheels with the kids, and sleep. What a busy day!

![]() | You scored as Commander William Adama. You have risen to your position by being damn good at what you do. Not only that, you have the deepest respect for the people under your command. You may be a little grumpy and unapproachable, but every commander needs to distance himself. Shame that you apply that to your children too.
