I would love to talk to the real McCain. I have a lot of respect for him, and while I don't know what I'd talk about, it would be a neat experience for me.

There was a pause so I asked, "May I ask who's calling please?"
"This is John McCain."
I thought it was a joke, so I hung up. Seconds afterwards, I thought, That sure sounded a lot like John McCain. Then I felt bad. I mean, his time is valuable and I can't imagine he'd want to chat, but I would've at least given him the courtesy of listening!
