For something completely different and new, I decided last week to see if I could stop vaping. I went back to my lozenges but forgot why I'd started vaping in the first place - not only do the lozenges tear up my mouth something fierce, they also give me painful indigestion. Someone suggested a nicotine patch instead, so thought I'd give that a try.
Apparently the patches are ridiculously expensive, and not usually covered by insurance, so that would be an out-of-pocket expense of something like $300 for a gamble. Working in concert with my pharmacy and doctor's office, it turns out my insurance DOES cover them (which I was told is quite rare) and should have my prescription submitted sometime today.
