These shots are clever and well done. Your model looks like a kid and a woman at the same time. Not sure how you're doing that and yes, it could be my own psychology that is...lol.
I wore BDUs in the Navy but they were grey, green, brown and black for amphibious operations. I may buy a few shirts for yardwork. Not sure if I like the blue ones yet, although they are certainly more comfortable then the uniform I had to wear when at sea.
Appreciate that. These are the Navy Working Uniform Type-1, which have already been phased out (the Navy is migrating to the Marine Corp-style camo last I read). Sailors referred to them as, "blueberries" and apparently abhorred them as they felt they'd never be found if ever overboard! I picked hers up at an online uniform outlet for $12. Fits her much better than my old BDUs.
Tangent: That's surprising and foolish that they objected to it because of that. The old work uniforms I wore my entire enlistment were blue. No one would be found when lost at sea. Camo BDUs wouldn't do any better. I have been in a few SARs. Unless someone is wearing brightly colored orange or yellow they usually aren't found in time. In 1991 we ran over a Greek fishing boat on a calm sunny day. We stopped immediately as that boat sank. Didn't find any of the crew until it was too late. In 89, we rescued passengers from a small cruise ship that sank of those coast of Italy. We did find about 40% of them.
