Anyone tired of seeing pictures of me sitting behind the wheel of a car? This is an un-retouched photo - i.e., I did it. First time in 10 years I haven't had a full beard. I like it, the wife hates it:



I need to do a little close-work on the chin; thin it out and trim up the sides. Furthermore, looking at these pics reminds me of Vinny Jones (Bullet Tooth Tony) in Snatch.

schpydurx suggested that this change made me look like Charles Manson. Because this change makes the look like the opposite (Being the other of two complementary or mutually exclusive things - Altogether different, as in nature, quality, or significance - Sharply contrasting; antithetical) I thought I would provide this young man with a photo and ask that he reconsider his statement:

Thursday, I will be in D.C. for a day trip. I will be IT staff supporting our clients largest meeting in D.C. for a week in October, and this will be an onsite meeting with the conference staff. I have plans to meet up with Air Force buddies photogoot and his wife. I've seen him every couple of years as he has attended meetings which have brought him to Texas, but I haven't seen his wife since 1997. Damn, that's a long time. Equipped with my beret, and my digital camera, the photo blog will be a feast for the eyes upon my return.

You look great :). But yeah, trimming the chin a bit would complement your hairdo better - wait a minute, that almost looks like a buzz cut, didn't you have slightly longer hair when I hung out with you and Tony?? Anyway, you do look nice. Sorry the wife doesn't like it. Usually I prefer a clean-shaven look on a guy's face, but it depends. Maybe it'll just take her awhile to get used to the new look, especially after ten years.
