Hey is Tera worth getting into? I still play EQ2 and help my kids in WoW. Is Tera similar? Could you lay out a pros and cons.
Or an opine about the game in general.

The best part about TERA (over even, say Wizard & Pirate) is that it is COMPLETELY free to play, from start to finish. And they even give you a mount. I never played WoW, but the kids liken it to Perfect World International (though I didn't care much for that one myself).

I like the races and the classes, and they seem to always be adding new content - again, free of charge. They have a lot of giveaways too for various costuming and such. People on global chat seemingly have a very low IQ and/or a high intolerance for logic while simultaneously demonstrating abysmally low reasoning skills, but if you stick to the PVE servers it can be a wonderfully quiet affair soloing through the lush worlds if you don't want to get caught up in some mouth-breather's drama.

They have automatic instance-matching for dungeons, good drops, and an active bazaar. I tried playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, and will continue to do so when I'm gaming with my son, but when its just me, I prefer TERA. Lastly, and you know me, I just love the soundtrack :)

I am still having trouble logging on. I am getting an ACCESS DENIED when it patches. I tried all they stated in their FAQ.
