I have been there.. They might use manure from goats / cattle, but I don't think a small family actually goes out to crap in the patty..

Col. Hudson said they shat in buckets and then took it out to the patties. He was an ASSHOLE so he could have been wrong or he could have just lost his mind back in the Nam. However Lt. Light who was one bad ass cool motherfucker did not disagree with him. Lt. Light was a real Leatherneck having been a Marine Non-com in WWII and then becoming an Army Officer after the war. He was in Berlin during the Cold War working in Army Intelligence. He used to tell stories how the Russians would kill one of our agents with a shot in the back of the head and then the next day one of theirs would be found the next day shot in the back of the head floating in the river. He was an awesome hard ass of a man. He died of lung cancer the year after I graduated from High School. I wish I had been able to attend his funeral.

Oh I believe it, which is why I excluded nations at war (see above).

Not right now. It's a tad humid but I know what you mean. I lived in Austin during a summer. I actually prefer central Texas to far west. I love trees and rain. I miss is soooo much!
