're wearing sunglasses...
A millennia has past since we put 1000 monkeys in a cage with 1000 typewriters, finally putting to rest that most ignorant of retorts. And though no work of Shakespeare was even attempted, the phrase "What's crack-a-lackin?" was seen 4 times.
drax0r,
Due to far-reaching consequences of my recent impulse purchase of the UK release DVD box set, 'Battlestar Galactica, Season One' and the dramatic end-of-week increase of fuel prices, I regret to inform you that I will be unable to make our Monday evening event this week. Please reschedule for next Monday, the 22nd of August. There is a lot still which needs to be done.
teh max0r (wee-mac) has undergone the knife again, this time downclocking it to 1.42Ghz, and apparently it has run distributed computing all weekend without issue. My only concern at this point is that the internal harddrive wasn't taxed enough to create any additional heat during it's trial run. I'll be retrieving said mac after work today.

We obtain non-public personal information about you from information we receive from you, applications or other forms, which may include your name, address, social security number, income, information about your transactions with us such as your account balance and payment history. To provide you superior service, we may share all of the information that we collect (italics theirs!). --Of course you have the option to 'opt-out' and it's done with a phone call. How convenient! Actually, what would be more convenient, is if they DIDN'T share my 'non-public' information by default, and I had to call them to ask them to! Furthermore, this phone call must be made annually, else they assume that you only wanted your private information not shared to the public inclusive to the year you made your request. I hate GMAC. I also love how they refer to this policy of handing out your information as their, "Privacy Statement." Asses. I should send them my own letter: "Dear GMAC, it is my policy to never do any business with any company who, by default, shares my non-public information unless an annual opt-out phone call is made. Do you perhaps have the phone number to Chrylser Financial?"
Added some more links to quark.xirr.com and locked down mysql after Jay's portscan revealed it open. Thanks Jay! Speaking of Jay, he punched-down our phone at the Wild Damn Texan office - meet, Wonderful Facilities Guy! Sung to the tune of SNL's 'Middle Aged Man':

I did indeed get 11 hours of sleep Saturday night. That's fantastic. Unfortunately, the 5 hour drive home coupled with sleeping in my parents spare bed room the day their air conditioner went out afforded me only 5 hours of sleep last night. So it begins...
