Going to sleep all hopped-up on Vicodin is interesting not because of the depth of dreams it gives me, rather, that it masks them as memories. I now have memories of activities which never took place, and people I never knew.

The best part of my day? Uninstalling the Opera web browser and replacing it with Safari Beta 3. Much better. Thanks for the tip, [livejournal.com profile] drax0r

I was at the Apple store the other day fondling the new glass and aluminum iMac. That machine is a whole lot of sexy, before you even turn it on.

Aye, and the new iPod Nano - Wow!

I am sooo addicted to my satellite radio I can not imagine wanting/needing anything in the iPod lineup. nothing against them, I am just lazy and like to dial up an endless variety of content and never have to deal with downloads. Plus I can listen over the internet when at my computer. I am sooo lazy.

And I am sooooo against anything which advertises, "No Commercials" as a pay service which later has commercials and you continue to pay for the service. Its almost like being ass-raped.

Plus, my tastes are...different. Sure, they have a "All soundtracks all the time" station, but it sucks. I want what I want when I want it. iPod makes that happen for me.

But hey, you know what you like, and it fills that nook, more power to ya. At least you have an opinion on the matter ;)

The music is all commercial free on my service so I don't mind commercials on the talk stations.

I agree with your point, my issue is I don't ever really know what the hell I want. Thats why I believe I would be frustrated with an iPod. A little clickity click on my satellite receiver and I am satiated. I generally know my mood and can find the type of audio experience to meet that need. As you know I am not good at knowing I want track 10 on album such and such, by artists X... I just do not have that kind of mind.

Yes we are different that way. That is why I like to say you complete me...

Which is another reason I so enjoy making CD's for you. You don't care what it is - you'll listen to it.

(Speaking of, I did have a hit of nostalgia this afternoon driving home...it was in the low 60's, I had the windows down, Anderson, Wakeman, Bruford & Howe was playing and I was doing 70 in a 45, winding through turns. I imagined you were sitting next to me. "My turn." I thought since you did all the fast driving down Highway 210 last time with the windows down.)

Hey look at your Safari compass. From your house it points straight to mine!

When are we going to do something about that?

I had the best Mexican food I've ever had in San Diego during Cinco de Mayo. Eat well, my friend, and take lots of pictures of the Aircraft Carriers for me!

I will make liberal use of voice posting so you can help focus the search crews if I don't return on schedule. I love that about LJ!

I just came from Apple's site; I hadn't seen the new iMac's you referred to. They're unbelievable! Good choice.

Mind bending even. How do they get all that good stuff inside? I dont know how they do it and maybe I don,t even care.... as long as they keep doing it. I am going to get CS# at the same time... It will be a quantum leap in computing for me. I'll be lucky to last the winter before I take the plunge... stay tuned.

Those are pretty aren't they?! My friend Chrissy just got a part-time job with Apple as a trainer. Between him and his husband they own or have owned everything Apple sells.
