Interesting. A white light appears and suddenly you morph into a woman (Cap. Janeway to be exact). What are you trying to tell us? Is there a secret you are trying to share? It's okay to leave the closest door open on your way out. ;-)

You saw straight through my facade. I am exposed. Oh dear.
Date/Time: 2007-09-08 02:51 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] celtmanx.livejournal.com
You picked a terrible liberal dike to morph into!!!!
Date/Time: 2007-09-08 03:58 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] ehowton.livejournal.com
Technically, I didn't "morph" into Janeway. There was no spatially-warped cross-dissolve in which to change my appearance. Had that been my intention, I would have done a much better job than a flash of light.

That series of frames was simply a transition between two discrete avatars.

Thank you.

So which was your favorite?
Date/Time: 2007-09-08 22:57 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] celtmanx.livejournal.com
Definitely not the liberal bitch one.

I like the one were the matrix girl pops out of the little Sony computer you are holding!!!

Definitely not the liberal bitch one.

You're right of course. I think you need to burn every DVD she's on. Give them to me, and I'll do the dirty work for you.

Yeah, I'll be tickled liberal pink to hand over $820.00 in Star Trek Voyager DVD's to you!!!
Date/Time: 2007-09-09 23:29 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] ehowton.livejournal.com
Fans of Star Trek refer to that character as "Captain Janeway." Thanks for understanding.
Date/Time: 2007-09-10 05:00 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] celtmanx.livejournal.com
Yes, but when you see the actor that plays "Captain Janeway" in public spouting her liberal agenda at a totally inappropriate event like an EXPENSIVE Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas that you purchased $500.00 tickets for yourself, your father-in-law, and brother-in-law it kinda spoils the whole character for you for life because you can only see the liberal bitch every time you see "Captain Janeway".

That's got to be very disheartening. I'm sorry.

Fscking liberal bitch!

Mike actually walked out of the convention hall just after she began to speak!!!

I do think she is a very talented actress but she is completely tactless!!!

Agreed.
Date/Time: 2007-09-07 18:38 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] ehowton.livejournal.com
So which transition is your favorite? I'm thinking about doing another in which to rotate with. Or, you know, is morphing into a chick "your thing" and you'd like to see me do another of those? heh...
Date/Time: 2007-09-07 22:59 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] prog-guy69.livejournal.com
Please avoid any of the "you morphing into a chick" things. They really creep me out.

Very impressive!

Did you find the time to do this at work or at home?

Again, very impressive!
I'm not surprised you remember the exact dates and times!

Date/Time: 2007-09-07 03:10 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] ehowton.livejournal.com
It was a lot of work. A portion of that time was spent trying to figure out exactly how to piece it all together. Another block of time was creating each individual slice. Over 150 images were used. The largest chunk of time by far, was putting it all together once the pictures & strategy was complete. But because you like it, it makes it all worthwhile - thanks!
Date/Time: 2007-09-07 03:15 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] galinda822.livejournal.com
Of course I like it! Who wouldn't. :)

I'm just glad you're happy with it after all the time you spent on it.

Which transition is your favorite?
Date/Time: 2007-09-07 18:59 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] galinda822.livejournal.com
The VAIO is my favorite!

The Sun with you transitioning in is the most impressive!

:)

This is awesome!

Glad you think so! At 150 images & 8 hours of work, I'm not exactly looking forward to rotating these as well, but I know it will come to that.

So which transition is your favorite?
Date/Time: 2007-09-08 05:37 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] photogoot.livejournal.com
The one from your hand held devise in Solomons Island.

Hrm. That's [livejournal.com profile] galinda822's favorite as well.

Followed by the one of you in front of the Sun boxes.

Hrm. That's [livejournal.com profile] galinda822's second favorite one as well.

Incidentally, the two I did by hand, not running them through a standard photoshop filter. Thanks, that'll be helpful when it comes time for my next one.
