I've done some analysis on the number of posts suggesting the player base is the worst it has ever been, that new players are given access to higher-tiered ships far too early, and the general overall pulse that the player base is getting worse, not better. If you have ever posted or suggested in comments that the player base sucks, my findings are this: Git gud.

Let me explain. When a player reaches out for any reason, be it a question, a comment, or an observation, you fucking mouthbreathers only ever have one response: Git gud. It is incomprehensible how anyone is supposed to improve their game outside trial and error unless those with experience, understanding, or comprehension freely share it. In other words, what the actual fuck did you expect to happen to the player base when they reach out and you're incapable of offering anything helpful? You are reaping what you sew if you've ever responded to anyone who didn't automatically and instantly absorb new, unique ship traits or request assistance with gameplay. I'm beginning to believe that YOU don't actually know how to play the game because if you did, surely you'd want to dazzle all of us with your brilliant strategic acumen. But instead you reply, "Git gud." This theory actually carries quite a bit of weight when you realize the majority of the people who answer in that manner have an inflated sense of self-worth. This is reinforced by emotion-fueled reactions usually containing gameplay statistics. If you're hearing this for the first time I'd like to apologize now, but your statistic mean absolutely nothing to anyone but yourself, especially if you cannot reply to questions with more than a two-word monosyllabic nonsensical retort. Again, ego.

Psychologically, I am aware that those of you who speak down to others do so in order to feel better about yourselves, but how you simultaneously miss the fact that you're creating the very environment you wish to improve is beyond me. So please, take a long hard look at yourself and realize YOU are the reason the player base sucks.
