It was fascinating really - the conversations over just a handful of days; very nearly in the same manner which Cass and I used to communicate - with one enormous difference: This one was actually attracted to me. If nothing else, I can thank her for putting to rest my newest theory...that being, would a connection to someone else help me in severing the one to Cass? While we never quite got to that point (which I'm convinced requires meeting in person) I can truthfully answer, "Absolutely!" And it was glorious.

But, much akin to shooting stars, it burned bright before flaming out. Which is sad because I offered to step back, yet would still - at a minimum - like to share my adventures with her, and hear hers. Just like all the other smart, attractive women in my life who I'm also not dating I suppose. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
