To edit the font in a Premiere Pro .mogrt, in Finder, change the filename to .zip, then open the resulting folder. Once in there change that filename to .zip, and once again open the resulting folder.
Within that folder will be a .aep file, which you can then open in After Effects and make your edits. To re-export as a .mogrt, open the Essential Graphics panel, and at the bottom will be, "Export as Motion Graphics Template.

In Windows, remove the file extension and open with something like 7zip File Manager.
