Sonnet 13

Though life can often be quite uncertain
As we navigate all its twists and turns
Every time I peek behind the curtain 
It always reveals you; for whom I burn
Where we end up is unknown and unsure
But a fulfilled intimate life can be
When love and intent is truthful and pure
Attitude, action, behavior toward thee
All that I ask is the time to discover
Time to pamper and caress and explore
Experience that which I uncover
This and only this is what I implore
For no matter the outcome we'll persist
Or perhaps seal fate with a tender kiss
