Not that I'm making fun of you. I'm neutral on baseball. Actually, when I was in high school, we went to STL for a interstate band concert and to see the Cardinals play.
I'll never forget this day. I made a new friend from Illinois - her name is Anne Miller (no relation). Also, I was supposed to play a solo on my trumpet - but I had just lost first chair to a freshman in the band. He ended up playing the solo - and doing very well. Little guy was a gifted musician - he could also play the violin quite well. I hold no animosity for him. I was too busy oggling my new friend Anne...
