Perhaps if I was embarrassed about it, yes. But as another reader pointed out, (I find it interesting how nonchalant you were in your dream. "'My party is already here.'") my lack of concern certainly points to some other, possibly more egotistical (or as my meme's have a way of pointing out, narcissistic) statement.
