Whereas jeans have a piece of fabric sewn externally against the outside of the denim, Battle Dress Uniforms have a pouch sewn inside of them, access of which is provided through a slit, covered by a flap with two buttons. Its very uncomfortable to sit on a wallet in that configuration, as it has the ability to shift. So I started carrying my wallet in my front pocket, and do so to this day.
