zypper install smt-client

If the system is already sles12, you may have to de-register it with Suse before registering it to SMT

SUSEConnect --de-register

wget http://192.168.1.12/repo/tools/clientSetup4SMT.sh

chmod +x clientSetup4SMT.sh

./clientSetup4SMT.sh https://192.168.1.12/center/regsvc

SOMETIMES DE-REGISTER DOES NOT WORK, JUST RUN THIS INSTEAD:

SUSEConnect --de-register

SUSEConnect --cleanup

rm -f /etc/SUSEConnect

rm -rf /etc/zypp/credentials.d/*

rm -rf /etc/zypp/repos.d/*

rm -f /etc/zypp/services.d/*

Paravirtualization

And just like that all my VMs do not work under VirtualBox because suddenly "Legacy" paravirtualization is the wrong (default) choice. Too bad I had to destroy a VM to discover this.
