Cold, Dead, Finger Prying

I have a group of friends - all of them own guns - and those of us who don't, we still wholly support ownership, etc.. But we also, among ourselves, sometimes discuss the complexity behind gun control, gun violence, and the rise of mass shootings. Because, well, that's what people sometimes do. Discuss things. Have a friendly conversation about recent events. The kind where no one raises their voice or gets their feelings hurt, or starts making overly simplistic, nonsensical overtures. And sometimes I get so comfortable with someone outside the group I will mention perhaps a recent discussion, and this other person will LOSE THEIR FUCKING MIND.
