Securing my children's future, by traveling there.

I dreamed that I "jumped" forward into the future with my wife and my clone (akin to Twinner's "flipping" in the Stephen King/Peter Straub novel The Talisman) in order to study my children as young adults, in hopes I could find any issues in their development. I talked with them, discussed things with them so I could go back and adjust course as necessary. I thought that by seeing them as they would be, I could more effectively judge the job I was doing in the present, and adjust any shortcomings on my part.
