Rejoice!

There's a lot to be thankful for though the sky may be gray
I try to rejoice at least once a day

Those with no joy do far less rejoicing
Discontent instead they're often heard voicing

I rejoice to Black Sabbath, I rejoice to Bach
No man is an island, but I am a rock

Character's not built when things go well
Rather through perseverance when staring down hell

The burden of responsibility is sometimes heavy to bear
So when I need to I rejoice right in my chair!

The bible tells us to rejoice with all our might
I take this to heart and try to do so every night

Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance
Now wouldn't that be worth a second glance?

I rejoice in the shower
I rejoice when I get home
When I'm feeling sad
Rejoicing puts me in the zone

Rejoicing is quite personal
I only rejoice in private
I watch women rejoice on the web
Because there they don't hide it

The moral of this missive is quite clear to me
Try to find joy in everything that you see!
