While my Treadmill Computer was working out great for me, my wife was growing increasingly annoyed with it. She was always stepping over it to get to her side, it was noisy when she was at her desk, and let's face it, unsightly. The Beautiful setup I'd crafted, replete with zip-tied wires was rent apart creating a tangled mess. So, I cleaned everything up and moved out the treadmill. But what to do? Two hours daily on a treadmill is not an engaging activity. Being a woman of action (as well as great beauty, but I digress) she bought a LCD television with a built-in DVD player and had me mount it on the wall. A week later (and with a little ingenuity from

I was ready for a hair cut, but I wanted a flattop - and a flattop on me right now makes me look pear-like, so I wanted to wait until I was getting visible results before I greatly altered my appearance. So I got it cut yesterday, which means while I'm still pear shaped, at least I'm a D'Anjou, rather than a Bartlett. Across from work they just opened up something called a 'Sport Clips.' Its staffed by beautiful women and appears to pander to male clientele. Though I wasn't aware of such a thing, they are the official barber of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and though I didn't have my card with me, I do carry a Mastercard with the VFW seal on it and with that discount was able to get my haircut and beard trimmed for the amazingly low price of $12.80. And because I got my hair cut, I'll now have to have it attended to every now and then. I'll be back. And its within walking distance of Chiptole ;)

In any case, I'm going to get down to my Air Force weight to prove to my wife that it can be done - and honestly, I've never had any greater motivation than to prove her wrong. I like to eat - this is no surprise to anyone, which is why dieting or portion control is beyond my comprehension; I'm a man of excesses in everything I do (reference hair, above) but I've found that exercise is something I'm *actually* capable of in the comfort of my own home.
And I have yet to receive any new music, though according to the three sources from which I've ordered them all, they have already 'shipped' including one I ordered simply because
