Pain

Could not get out of bed this morning. Eventually, I was able to both sit up, and move around with limited mobility and much pain. Wife made a doctor's appointment for 1000 thinking perhaps I wrenched my back lifting her bookshelves she had me pick up several hours before my pain began. It got progressively worse over the past three days. The doctor laughed heartily over my suggestions of gall bladder and gastronomical distress. I told him I was horrible at self-diagnosis, and after checking my urine and man-handling my torso, asked if I'd lifted anything heavy in the following manner, as he began to demonstrate exactly how I had lifted the bookshelves from the bottom shelf into the shopping cart. He gave me a prescription for Methocarbamol, a muscle relaxer/sedative and an anti-imflamatory and sent me home. Told me not to do anything for a couple of days. Thank goodness it's the weekend!

Rec'd my soundtracks in the mail today from Amazon. The Fly, The Fly II and Aliens: The Deluxe Edition. My Varese collection appears to be growing. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank swashbucker332 for introducing me to the label. They really are amazing. I wanted to give them an immediate listen, but I'm just too tired. I think I'll go take a nap instead...

Snatched up galinda822 and drove out to Grant's Farm for our annual company picnic. It was dull. But there was free beer.

'Zander' is not a name. It's the short form of 'Alexander.' 'Tori' is not a name. It's the short form of 'Victoria.' Now I know all you people out there can name your children anything you want, the above two included. But why name a child something which is going to make you look stupid?

Have been playing SpyHunter on PS2 with the boy. It really is very well done and lots of fun to play. Nothing like the game of the same name we used to play on the Atari 1600.
