Rec'd the following e-mail FROM MY MANGER (paraphrased):
"...update your Global Personnel Asset Inventory (GPAI) data...If you are listed below, you don't have a complete GPAI record...Please enter your data ASAP and reply to this e-mail when you are in compliance with HR's 100% participation requirement..Those who do not have completed GPAI records by 7/29 will be forwarded on to the division VP for further "encouragement".

And of course, my response:

Participation in GPAI is voluntary according to Paragraph two of the Global Personnel Asset Inventory DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT.

Our company has selected GPAI as the global application for employee skills and resumes. Many other similar systems are migrating to GPAI and will soon become obsolete. While you are under no obligation to participate in GPAI, you may miss out on worthwhile and interesting career opportunities if you choose not to; some of these opportunities may be outside of your normal country of residence.
