So after weeks of wrestling with linux on x86 and bsd on sparc, I swapped the two and within an hour had running operating systems on both my boxes. The x86 is running FreeBSD, the SPARC is running debian. Go figure. So I'm at work today trying to get debian on my SB150 (Sun's crap pseudo-DMA hack prevents almost 100% of bootable CDROM media) and I'm using an existing SB150 gentoo box as a tftpboot server. More fun and games to follow, I'm sure.
