All I'm saying is that as enjoyable as the film is, we really have to wait to see if it has the staying power of The Princess Bride. I think that it may very well, but only time will really tell.
I will say this, though. The Princess Bride was much more quotable than Stardust. That often helps maintain a place in the mind.
Again, we shall see. I really hope it does endure, though... I have yet to come across somebody who didn't like the film.
