Misgivings

• Does anyone have any Burt Bacharach played by someone other than Burt Bacharach?




• Think Mantovani, Nelson Riddle...Ferrante & Teicher..someone with less of that funky 70s sound.




• I have his Greatest Hits but its just so freaking dated.

• The SG-1 "Groundhog Day" Season 4 episode Window of Opportunity was the funniest thing I've seen on television in a long time.




• Hands down I still like Atlantis better.




• Completely and entirely understanding that without plot holes and character mistakes there would be no story in which to unfold, I often wonder why the SG-1 team hasn't thought of riding ATV's through the Stargate on planets where their objective is 10+ kilometers from their ingress point.

I considered that, along with "to move more stealthily" but surely they could use battery-operated golf-carts?

Teal'c juggling out-of-character was the definitive moment for me. I've not laughed that hard, out loud, in a long, long time.

Golf carts would probably be slower than a group of trained commandos and there's not a lot of terrain they can manage. Now maybe one of those huge human-sized slingshots?

See the icon for my reaction to Teal'c juggling. Too funny. Like much of the episode, actually :) Hysterical ep all around. I haven't looked at Froot Loops the same since ;p

Ah yes, PXY-887! Believe it or not, I don't have all those 'Stargate Universe' world's designations memorized. I hope this doesn't disappoint you too greatly. I was able to look it up, however and speaking of things to memorize which are entirely not useful, I noticed that world didn't have an associated gate address.
