I dreamed the other night that Mystery Inc had sent Linda Cardellini and I to Eastern Europe to solve a mystery. I was on staff because I was the only one who had flown both the A-10 Warthog, and the Su-25 Frogfoot.
I was talking to drax0r on my GSM phone asking him to set up an email reflector so that any mail going to 'mysteryinc@scoobydoo2.com' would go directly to my phone, that way I'd be notified of any up-to-date developments.
Who could make up such stories? I mean really...I for one enjoy the imagery that Howton conjures up. I almost feel like I am living life vicariously through his dream-world.
Wait, does that make sense? Maybe I am taking a pull off the same paint-can as Sckoopy-doo, aka Tom...geez I hope not.
Where is that mother-fscker anyway? I'm shocked that he hasnt yet commented. Oh wait, I remember...its past his bed-time....bed-wetter. 50 bucks says that if he ever impregnates a member of the female gender, he'll name it after Jefferson Davis...regardless of whether its a boy or a girl...it doesnt matter really...all southern-erns all look the same anyway...slow, dumpy and stupid.
Maybe thats the wine talkin, but this Yankee is having fun at Tom's expense...et tu Tomas?
Hey now, you must remember that both Howton and I are both Southerners. Not all of us are like Tom and call our father uncle and live in trailer parks.
Tom is currently making childish comments on photogoot 's latest blog entry.
photogoot came up with a brillant name for Tom, sphincter-x.
Please forgive me if I mis-spoke, however, I dont group Texas with the other southern states. Yes, I understand they're place both geographically, socio-economically and historically, yet Texans, I believe are never referred to as 'Southerners'...they're 'Texans'. I know Schoopy-durex (aka sphincter-x) wont understand but there is a difference.
Besides, Texas is like a 'whole other country'.
If you are not from Texas, then please let me know which southern state you are from, so that I do not 'poke' at it in future comments...Respect.
Agreed. I've never considered myself a "Southerner" and have always been offended at people who've called me such. Back in the day, we were considered "The West" and your assessment of being referred to simply as, "Texan" is, in a word, perfect. I appreciate you candor in this matter.
and I suppose the next thing you're going to tell us is that Lincoln was a righteous man and that no one in the North owned slaves whereas everyone in the South not only owned but oppressed slaves?
Why don't you get with celtmanx and see if the both of you can put his history degree to good use. I trow you will find out that you are wrong on many accounts regarding your perception of the Civil War, provided that celtmanx didn't study revisionist history.
You are assuming incorrectly (again) that I am an uneducated, NASCAR-loving member of society, who spouts things from his mouth without fully grasping, nay, understanding what actually is being said.
To address your first statement. I challenge you to show me where Lincoln WASNT as righteous a man as a flawed individual could be. If you can get beyond the 'penny' story and see beyond the log cabin, you will find a man of extreme moral character as well as culturally astute. I dare you to find me anyone during that time period who sacrificed more in the name of unity and forgiveness.
To address your second comment. Anyone who has read anything beyond the public school system's commentary on the civil war knows that there were slavery supporters in the North, and just like there are today, people openly called for the impeachment of the president, and attacked the president's handling of the war and the southern states. Members of his own party didnt want him around because his actions didnt fill their pockets with money or bring (un-warranted) prestige to their name. Many of the rally'ing cries of the people opposing the war were of the mindset that 'if they (southern states) wanted to succede, then let them.' Tell me that the United States isnt better with the southern states and their revenue streams and culture mixed in with the 'north', and I will personally drive in a southern direction to your location and kick your backside all the way to Cuba where your communist manifesto belongs....ill bring the wetsuit and snorkel!
Thirdly, I am an avid student and quite well-versed in the period known as the 'Civil War', and challenge your challenge that I am nothing if but ignorant of our nations history and foibles.
Your only correct assumption would be that I neither understand or support a southern'ers stand when it comes to states rights, or the blatant hiding of a morally irreprehensible thing such as slavery behind such 'rights'.

However, I think it can be chocked up to his misunderstanding of the "real world" at times.
Love him to death, but anyone who knows him well, knows that he deffinatly thinks on his own wave lenth.
