I was a good salesman but not an excellent one. Usually coming in first in sales rankings for my store more often than not. I was not an excellent sales person though because it isn't in my nature to flat out lie to people. I also attribute that fact to my longevity in sales since the average sales person only lasted 2 years or got promoted to management for another 2 years before leaving the company before they got fired or because that fired.
