I remember when I first met the texas crew in person. They had a small tty on a single box in the single room apartment that the five or so of us were mudding from. A suggestion was made; it sounded good; I said, 'let's code it up'. I opened up a telnet terminal to sl9vg, logged in, changed the code, compiled it and rebooted the game. Behind me watching was the equivalent of half a dozen dropped jaws saying 'no way!'

I blame that incident for corrupting Talos and Squeak.
